Shark Index Power Rankings - Season 18 Week 5

Here are the Sharkey's World Power Rankings for Week 5. Lots of volatility in the rankings, though two of the top three teams that moved up the most in the rankings, St. Louis (+13) and Memphis (+12), played a vastly fatigued New Orleans team (who now finds it's Index number in the negative). The third team, Cleveland (+8), enjoyed a 15-3 run during the week.

Not too much change in the top 10, with the exception of Kansas City breaking the lock the NL West had on the Top 3.

Sumthin' Diff'rent

So a healthy blog makes for a more interesting world, so here's my attempt at contributing. I don't have anything earth-shattering, but I saw something that I thought was interesting and wanted to share with the group. Maybe this will be a regular column for the blog. Or maybe it's just filler space. Who knows.

Anyway, I had the #31 pick in the amateur draft this season. Obviously you don't expect a star at that spot, so I was perfectly content to land this pitcher:
